Twenty three participants from the neighbouring countries of Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Montenegro and from within Croatia attended the workshop.

The objective of the workshop was to improve the understanding on the role of stakeholders’ involvement in environmental governance, the types and degrees of collaborations among the stakeholders within the de-pollution processes, the role of platforms for an effective participation, the legal frameworks and the different processes (EIA and SEA).

The training, which was organised by WWF MedPO and MIO-ECSDE, targeted national policy makers and networks and associations of civil society dealing with industrial pollution, waste water and municipal waste. To enhance involvement, the training methods included presentations, working groups, discussions, and exercises.  Read more about the training at: http://www.h2020.net/en/resources/training-materials/viewcategory/138.html
